NoMu Wood is a digital platform to guide and inspire Nordic Municipalities them in the process of building in wood. More broadly though, the treasure trove of information herein can offer something for many interested in the future of low-carbon Nordic construction.
The project is part of the Nordic Wood in Construction Secretariat’s portfolio, which was commissioned by the Nordic Council of Ministers and the Swedish Government in 2018. The Secretariat is hosted by EIT Climate-KIC, and this platform has been prepared and maintained by the Danish Technological Institute and WeThink Nordic.
The main content on this platform is found in the How to build with wood section, which is complemented by a wide range of cases that showcase what has already been achieved with wood in the Nordics.
With a growing emphasis on LCA, this site is also home to an LCA e-learning tool, developed by Arkitema and COWI, which aims to give municipal stakeholders a thorough introduction on how to work with LCA.
